My first wedding of 2025 was in one of my all-time favourite venues - York House in Twickenham, London.
It’s the place I actually love to come back to over and over, even on days I’m not working. I love the architecture, the energy, and the grounds - there is so much room for play.
Iona & Yassin had their ceremony in the Loggia Room (aka the room of dreams) with stunning natural light and my personal obsession: dark green chairs. The whole colour scheme and setting of the room are so timeless. Nothing clashes or distracts, and it all just feels right.
The couple come from different cultural backgrounds - Iona is Scottish, Yassin is Pakistani-French, and I absolutely loved how they brought all parts of themselves into the celebration. Their families, style, and energy all showed up beautifully.
For the first part of the day, Yassin wore traditional Scottish outfit (which looked so good next to Iona’s gorgeous princess gown). Later, for the party, they changed into stunning traditional South Asian outfits - Iona in a sari and Yassin in a sherwani, and absolutely owned that reception room and the dancefloor.
My goal on the day was to document this beautiful fusion - the way their cultures met, and more importantly, the way they show love to each other. The way they laugh, touch, move, express themselves. I’m really proud of this gallery and feel so lucky I got to be part of it, especially in a venue I adore so much.
